ALL THINGS RECIPES

We all love to try special recipes on holidays. Whether it’s something we have created ourself or something that has been passed down through the generations. Here are a few to start with and I will be adding more so keep checking back!

EASTER BREAD

It’s time to celebrate Easter Sunday!! Easter Sunday is a very religious Catholic Holiday. It is the ending of Lent and many people celebrate it in Church at a special Mass. Not only is it a religious holiday, it’s a big family holiday where everyone gets together and celebrates. We love to celebrate it enjoying our Easter Bread that is a family tradition for us.

There is always a big meal whether it’s a leg of lamb, or a ham, or whatever your preference is for that day. A lot of people also set up a Charcuterie Board or as some of us call it an Antipasto Tray. Whatever the meal may be, we all love some great bread to enhance our meal. This Easter bread is made from scratch and the recipe is almost 100 years old. It’s delicious and once you try it, you will make it every year!!! Below is the recipe so you can enjoy this wonderful bread also!! We make it every Easter as it has become our tradition!! We all look forward to enjoying it with our Easter Dinner!!

HOMEMADE MEATBALLS

When I was a little girl, I couldn’t wait for Sunday dinners to have homemade meatballs and sauce. Everyone would come over to eat.. aunts, uncles, cousins. They all were looking forward to my mom’s meatballs and sauce. We never missed a Sunday dinner.

I watched my Mom cook as I got older so now I am the expert at making homemade meatballs. It’s not like the old days when everyone came to eat Sunday dinner but when they are coming they want my meatballs and sauce.

It is so easy to make if you follow the directions. Anyone can do it!!! Just follow the steps below:
