Recently I was asked “Why” did I chose this business. Let me explain WHY!
EARLY YEARS
I had a great childhood, grew up in Brooklyn, had friends and was out all day but always made sure I was home when Dad got there. My mom didn’t work because my father wanted her to be there for me and my sister. I graduated high school a year early and went on to college and was studying to be a lawyer. It was difficult but that’s what I wanted to do at the time. Unfortunately I had gotten ill and lost a lot of time from class and just gave up because there was too much to catch up on.
SEARCHING FOR “MY DREAM”
I went to work in Manhattan and I was unhappy working in an office but continued to do it. Then I had married and had my first child so had to stop working. My dream was to start a business from home and I looked at so many things but everything always sounded good but never panned out. After I had my second child, I was still looking. I wanted financial freedom so I could be home with my children and provide them with everything they needed. Then I looked into flipping real estate, went to seminars, listened to videos, bought books but nothing was working and nothing was what was promised. I always kept looking even when my children were in school, always looking for the “right” one!
20 YEARS WENT BY
I had divorced and remarried and was a manager in a supermarket for 20 years working 60 hours a week, 6 days a week including nights, weekends and holidays. It was hard but I made good money and it paid the bills. But something was missing.. there was a part of me that still wanted my own business. I wanted to be home with my family and not out until midnight working, eating dinner on the go, to be able to enjoy a holiday, Also I wanted financial freedom, the freedom to take trips, help my children, my grandchildren, have security for our “golden years” so we can enjoy our life after working so hard all those years. Having the security and financial freedom to go and “have fun”
SETBACKS
In 2019 my life and my dreams were derailed. My husband suffered a heart attack and strokes and almost didn’t survive. He made it but after improving he took a downslide. He was diagnosed with Parkinsonism Lewey Body, a progressive debilitative neurological disease. I retired a year early to be home with him. I was concerned about our future, my future and I was still looking for that “business” that would provide me with financial security. I was frightened.
I FOUND “IT” MARKETING FREEDOM
I finally found my “dream business”. As I was constantly searching one day I saw an ad that caught my attention and checked it out , decided to join as I had a good feeling about it. After that someone contacted me and explained the program and I was like this sounds too good to be true. I did some research and this seemed “real” so I decided to take a chance and go for it. Since I had been in retail most of my life this was something new but I was good with computers. This took me a little out of my comfort zone but I knew I could do this.
It’s been a year and this has turned out to be more than what I dreamed it would be. The opportunity, the people, the support is all so amazing and I have never seen anything like it before. Rory and Tanya are an amazing couple and they put their heart and soul into it to make it work, not for them but for all of us, their “family”. All they want is for everyone to succeed and “pay it forward” like they did. This isn’t a business, it’s a family working together to achieve their goals… financial freedom. Where have you ever seen that!
A lot of my dreams have been shattered due to my husband’s illness and don’t know what the future holds, but this business is my foundation for a secure future and it is helping me to get through one of the most difficult times of my life.
